The Fate of Thorin’s Company

The most notable member of this group, Thorin Oakenshield, was mortally wounded during the Battle of Five Armies. His sister’s sons, Kíli and Fíli, died defending their uncle. Bilbo Baggins, who was unconscious during the battle due to wearing the Ring, arrived in time to witness Thorin’s final moments.
The Surviving Dwarves

The remaining Dwarves, having reclaimed their homeland, established a new life within Erebor. Their population boomed, and the economy prospered under their care. Many more Dwarves from the Iron Hills joined them, further enriching the community.
Legends Among Dwarves
